How to invest in Jordan Big Fund
Israel’s largest private equity firm, Jordan Big Funds, said it will start raising money for its Israel investment fund by selling shares.
Jordan Big, which is managed by a former senior Israeli finance minister, plans to sell 1.8 million shares at a total value of $6.7 million to fund investments in Israel, including the Jordan Fund, the firm said in a statement on Friday.
The fund will be led by the Jordan Investment Fund, which was founded by the late Finance Minister Yair Lapid.
The funds aim to help Israel diversify its portfolio of assets, and Jordan Big said it would raise capital to support the fund’s investments.
The firm said it plans to invest $1 billion in Israel over the next four years.
The Jerusalem Fund, started by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is one of the world’s largest Israel fund managers.
It has raised more than $300 million and has given about $60 million to Israel’s Ministry of Education.
